Howdy – my name is Lisa, and I’m the Nesting Nomad. I've been designing and selling jewelry here on and off since 2009 - as well as running its "sister shop", SisterNomadSupplies, for a number of years. My designs have varied over the years, and I'm currently working on growing my line of unique gift jewelry. I love the idea of creating pieces that connect people with one another in a meaningful way. (I mostly run the business on my own, though my husband helps out with packaging during busy times, and I have bead-stringing help when needed.)

I’ve been drawn to earthy, interesting art and jewelry for as long as I can remember. My early experimentations with jewelry creation involved seeds and leaves gathered from the woods around my childhood home in Michigan. I still love seeds and plants, but I’ve branched out a bit since then…. At the end of the day, I just really love things that have a story to tell.

This shop is a part of Nesting Nomad Enterprises, LLC. You might ask: why would I name my company Nesting Nomad? In my lifetime so far, I have lived in over 30 different houses, one car, and one boat - in many different states. I’m ready to settle down now – it’s time! After following a meandering path through Florida, Michigan, Colorado, Washington State, Oregon, and North Carolina, this nomad is now nesting in lovely Vero Beach, Florida.
